Traditional pottery making in North East Thailand
Pottery is an ancient craft in north-east Thailand and clay in the Isan (or Isaan) region is plentiful and has long been used to create exquisite items. This photo is taken at Ban Chiang Khrua in Sakon Nakhon province, 15 kilometers away on the way to Nakhon Phanom. Products made here are jars, pots, containers, and flowerpots.
